SORRY FOR YOUR TROUBLE is a collection of short stories, many of which center around themes of loss, whether through a breakup or through death. The collection contains a novella, "The Run of Yourself," finds a lawyer in New Orleans dealing with the death of his wife and trying to find a way through his grief. All of the stories are beautifully written with Ford's careful ear for the intricate details of human speech and emotion.
