BATTLEGROUNDS is a thought provoking assessment of American policy following the end of the Cold War, drawing from McMaster’s long engagement with these issues, including 34 years of service in the U.S. Army, his research at the University of North Carolina in American history, and his year as National Security Advisor, among many, many other titles. McMaster calls for Americans to overcome partisan differences and seek to educate themselves regarding America's place in the world and, most importantly, work together to secure peace and prosperity for future generations.
