It is a book of several powerful themes including how the human spirit fights to survive in the face of hopelessness, how love can transcend nationalities and how racism creates divisions where none really exist.

It is a new, unread first edition opened only for signing and comes with a certificate authenticating the signature. Published in September, 2010 by Putnam's Amy Einhorn Books, an imprint of Penguin Random House.
