MEMORIES OF THE FUTURE is a beautifully structured and written novel about a young woman who moves to New York City to become an author and discovers that she can hear the bizarre behavior and conversations of her neighbor through the thin walls. Writing everything she hears down in her journal, she finds the notebook forty years later, and deals with how memories can be unreliable, especially when it comes to delights and traumas.
